On Friday I met up with some girlfriends for a coffee date, and decided to continue my experiment with casual looks. Taking inspiration from all of the boho-chic outfits I’ve seen on Pinterest, and channelling my inner “desi” this is what I came up with. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the term desi, here’s what Wikipedia had to say:
“Desi – slang for people, culture, and products of the Indian sub-continent. “Desi” is a diverse term that can signify anyone with South Asian ancestry.”
This look is a complete departure from what I usually wear, and it almost felt like I was playing a character while wearing it. An easy going, hippie sort of girl that does what she wants, whenever she wants. Wait a minute….that sounds sort of like a girl I know!

This is such a pretty look – I love the boho influences and the “desi” feel (I did not know that term, thank you for explaining). You look confident and relaxed. Love the owl!
Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday.

You look lovely, Raj! Absolutely gorgeous
And pink is definitely your hue, you need to wear it more often
